Interested in Joining the BRANCH Lab?

Expectations

Commitment of at least 2 semesters for at least 3 hours per week plus a weekly lab meeting (about 1 hour/week).

I receive a large number of applications to join the lab each semester and the application process to receive a spot is competitive. I am generally only able to offer research assistant positions to students currently enrolled at KU.

Timeline

I typically consider applications shortly before the start of each semester. Please submit your applications by July 15 for consideration of a position in the Fall semester and December 15 for the Spring semester. Only current research assistants are invited to participate in the lab during summers.

To apply for a position in the lab, please email:

• a CV or resume
• a brief statement of your research interests and goals (including career or graduate school aspirations)
• a list of your possible available hours to participate in the lab during the upcoming semester
• whether you want to volunteer or earn course credit (PSYC 460, PSYC 461) for your activities in the lab
